Hello! I’m Eric Baker, founder of LintWise, and like many homeowners, my family and I were frustrated with our dryer and concerned about our home’s safety.
Years ago, living in a three-story house, I struggled to find someone who could properly clean our dryer vent. Most companies either didn’t show up, couldn’t provide full service, or left me with more questions than answers.
That’s when I realized — my family wasn’t the only one.
Many families have no idea how dangerous a clogged dryer vent can be. Even after so-called “professional cleanings,” friends, family, and neighbors were still dealing with slow dryers, overheating, or rising energy bills. Some even went as far as buying a new dryer, thinking that was the fix, when in truth, a proper vent cleaning could have solved the problem.
That’s why LintWise was born!
After 17 years in corporate finance and a passion for doing things right, I set out to build more than just another service company — I wanted to create a new standard in home services.
